Cindey Chiang is an Art Director and Visual Development Artist in Vancouver, Canada.
Since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in character animation from CalArts, she has worked on features such as The Angry Birds Movie (2016), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), and The Garfield Movie (2024) as well as series such as Robert Kirkman’s Invincible (2021) and the Netflix/LINE series Brown and Friends (2022), where she Art Directed an episode.
Cindey is the Art Director of “Pivot” (2021) an original award winning short film completed as part of the second iteration of Women in Animation Vancouver’s ACE program. “Pivot” has since become Oscar qualified and has screened at over 34 festivals around the world.
